Vetz

Vetz, meaning “buddy” in a Northern Italian dialect, is crafted in the rolling hills of Piedmont using only natural botanicals. It’s a modern take on the classic Italian aperitivo, without anything artificial masking its authentic character. The bright amber-gold color, which can vary slightly from batch to batch, is derived from the maceration of botanicals in a solution of grain-neutral spirit, cane sugar, and water, resulting in a delicate push-pull of sweet, spicy, floral, and bitter. The natural flavorings include elderflower, vanilla bean, cascarilla, gentian, hibiscus, nutmeg, bitter orange, and chamomile, among others.

Vetz is a complex, less bitter choice for a spritz or for a long drink with tonic. It also adds a new dimension to Italian classics like the Negroni and Americano, occupying a kind of middle ground between a Vermouth di Torino and a traditional Bitter.
